From cad model to process insight
Import and Build Up
Import your model directly from your CAD system. Moldex3D guides you step-by-step with auto-wizards and automatic error detection to set up a complete injection molding and mold design, including gating systems and cooling channels.

Accurate 3D Analysis
Powerful, automatic 3D meshing technology handles even the most complex injection molded parts with ease. Thanks to integrated material databases, designers gain insight into every dimension of their design. Potential bottlenecks are brought to light at an early stage, enabling immediate process optimization.

Clear Reporting & Communication
Make powerful decisions based on facts. Post-processing functions provide real-time insight into the injection molding process and product properties through clear graphs and animations. With automatic reporting functions (in HTML or PowerPoint), you can quickly present results and streamline communication with design teams, mold makers, and clients.

Moldex3D offers a complete suite of modules to analyze every aspect of the injection molding process
Flow Behavior
Simulates the complete flow behavior during filling. This prevents production errors such as incorrectly placed weld lines, air traps, excessive injection pressures, and flash formation. The individual contribution of multiple gates is also checked.

Pack
Crucial for a dimensionally stable product. Moldex3D Pack calculates the required time and pressure during the packing phase based on PVT properties. This minimizes sink marks, severe shrinkage, and the risk of warping.

Cool
Optimize mold and cooling system designs to shorten cycle times, even with complicated geometries. The module also supports advanced rapid cooling functions and variotherm heating systems (such as RHCM) via dynamic temperature display.

Warp
Prevent production errors caused by unwanted deformation during the design phase. Warp provides reliable analyses of post-process shrinkage and warpage effects.

MCM
Expand your development possibilities. MCM simulates processes with inserts (such as metals) or multiple sequential injection molding steps, such as 2K or 3K processes.
